Meet the Team

Stephanie Chavis, Registered Dental Hygenist

 Originally from Bamberg, South Carolina, Stephanie became a Dental Hygienist in 2001 after earning her Associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Midlands Technical College. She performs dental prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, and oral cancer screenings in addition to many other responsibilities. She loves working with a team that genuinely cares about other people in a Christian atmosphere. Stephanie married Oliver Chavis Jr. in 2002. The couple has three sons, and they enjoy doing outdoor activities together like boating, fishing, and kayaking.

 

Mandy Polston, Registered Dental Hygienist

Mandy is from Barnwell, South Carolina, and earned her Associates of Science in dental hygiene from Midlands Technical College in 1991. She is also anesthesia and CPR certified and has been with Still & Reece since 1996. Mandy says that she feels honored to care for patients in her hometown, and does so by doing periodontal therapy, exposing radiographs, and preparing whitening trays. Like the rest of the team, she loves that the practice is family oriented, and is happily married with one son and two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching her children play sports, watching college football, and volunteering her time with youth at her church in her spare time.

Alicia B. Jordan, Registered Dental Hygienist

Alicia is originally from Barnwell and earned her Associate degree in Health Science. She’s been in the dental health field for many years, first as a dental assistant and then as a hygienist. Alicia is responsible for applying sealants, providing dental hygiene and nutritional education to patients, in addition to other tasks. She loves the support that the team provides to each other at Still & Reece, and loves helping patients care for themselves and their overall health. She is married with a beautiful son, and enjoys cooking and fishing.

Terri Collins, Scheduling Coordinator

Terri was born and raised in Barnwell, South Carolina and earned her certification in dental assisting from Aiken Technical College after graduating from Barnwell High School. She’s been in dentistry since 2006 and has been with the practice since 2010 and loves her coworkers and interacting with patients. Her two children are her pride and joy, and she loves spending time outdoors and working in her yard on bright, sunny days.

Nancy Morrow, Registered Dental Hygienist

Nancy is originally from Charleston, South Carolina and has been with Still & Reece since 1990! She holds a degree in dental hygiene and is also certified in CPR, nitrous, and anesthesia. Nancy performs periodontal therapy, takes x-rays, and educates patients on dental health in addition to many other necessary tasks. She loves that the office is Christian-based, but that the staff can also joke and kid around with each other. She enjoys helping patients become informed on important hygiene techniques and helping them get healthy. Nancy has three children and five very precious grandchildren with her loving husband, Monty, and enjoys anything involving her family, friends, and the beach.

Sherry Davis, Dental Assistant

Sherry is originally from Denmark, South Carolina, and has been in the dental profession for over 20 years! She received her education from Midlands Technical College and has been with Still & Reece since 1998. When asked about what she loves the most about the office, Sherry firmly stated the doctors, staff, and patients, and she enjoys being able to assist the dentists during her work. She loves to sew and craft in her spare time, but being with her family, especially her grandchildren, is what she loves more than anything else.

Bet Sanders, Dental Assistant

Bet is from Springfield and has been assisting dentists for over 40 years after receiving her technical degree. She’s been with Still & Reece since 1989, and regularly performs denture repairs, makes whitening trays and night guards, and educates patients on the importance of good oral and dental health. Bet loves meeting people and helping patients keep their smiles bright, and is good at helping patients feel more comfortable while helping the doctors have a better day. As a very experienced dental assistant, she loves the Christian environment of the office. Bet has 3 children, one of whom followed her footsteps into the dental profession to become dentist. She also has three grandchildren, and she loves sewing and making things for them when not spending time with the whole family.

Patricia Hartley, Dental Assistant

Patricia is originally from Aiken, South Carolina, where she received her diploma from Aiken Tech. She’s been assisting dentists for over six years, and joined the family at Still & Reece in 2010. She enjoys the practice and loves that the doctors are caring and have big hearts. She truly values interacting with the patients and Patricia knows that she’s a perfect fit for the job because she loves helping people have healthy and beautiful smiles.

Carol Lee Mathias, Patient Coordinator

Carol has been in the dental health field for over six years, and started working with Still & Reece in 2012. She welcomes and works with patients at the front desk, and enjoys interacting with them and the staff. She has two years of college experience and loves the caring, good staff that with whom she works. Carol loves spending time with her family, which includes her loving husband, three children, and eight grandchildren. She also enjoys working outside, playing with her grandkids, and going on fishing excursions with her husband.

Libbie Boyleston, Billing and Insurance Coordinator

Libbie is from Barnwell, South Carolina and processes monthly statements for patients after submitting insurance claims to their insurance companies for payments. She’s been working for Still & Reece since 2003, but has 6 years of prior experience with another office. Libbie’s education was unrelated to this position, so she’s learned all of her related experience while on the job. She thanks God for helping her find this position in such a loving, Christian environment and feels honored to work with dentists that take pride in their work and truly care about their patients. Libbie loves to exercise, dance, and sew. She enjoys spending time with her loved ones, which includes one daughter and two sons, and Libbie can’t wait for the arrival of a grandbaby.
