Dr. Merrell Still is originally from Barnwell, South Carolina and opened his practice there after earning his DMD from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1989. Dr. Still is an accomplished member of the American Dental Association and the South Carolina Dental Association. He also volunteers his time and serves on the board of the Carolina Honduras Health Foundation, which operates a free clinic in Limone, Honduras and provides healthcare for the community.
After adding Dr. Reece to the practice in 2009, Dr. Still opened a second practice the following year, eventually relocating both offices into a state-of-the-art building. He hired Dr. Reece on as a full partner four months later.
Dr. Still has been happily married to his wife, Jackie, for 27 years. Together they have a daughter, Lauren, her husband and their son-in-law, Martin, and a son, Trey. Dr. Still enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time. He loves that he is able to work in his hometown for the people with whom he grew up.
Dr. Reece is originally from Barnwell, South Carolina and recieved her BS in Chemistry and a minor in Biology from Lander University. She continued her education at the Medical University of South Carolina where she received her DMD and was given an award praising her removable prosthodontic work. Dr. Reece is currently a member of the South Carolina Dental Association and will soon be part of the American Dental Association. She has been practicing general dentistry since 2009.
Dr. Reece is happily married to her husband of three years, Randy, with whom she has one daughter. She enjoys spending time with them as well as reading and being outdoors. Dr. Reece has gone on many mission trips to South America to provide care to the less fortunate, and said that what she loves most about her job is that she gets to establish relationships with her patients while improving their smiles.
